Leura Garden Festival & Anvil Rock Lookout
A quick visit to the Leura Garden Festival followed by a stop at Anvil Rock Lookout — a day filled with family, fleeting photo opportunities, and stunning Blue Mountains scenery.

A Whirlwind Festival Visit
We dropped by the Leura Garden Festival on a warm spring morning. The gardens were in full bloom, with bursts of azaleas, camellias, and rhododendrons creating a vibrant palette. Unfortunately, our time was short — most of the visit involved chasing after the kids as they explored winding paths and hidden corners. I only managed to take a handful of quick shots between snacks and nappy changes!
Blue Mountains Views at Anvil Rock
Later that afternoon, we drove out to Anvil Rock Lookout for a quick scenic stop. The panoramic views over the Grose Valley were spectacular, with soft afternoon light casting long shadows across the cliffs. Again, with two little ones in tow, this was more of a fleeting visit than a focused photography session — but even a few frames here capture just how breathtaking this spot is.
